Indoor lights aren’t built to handle the elements, and exposure to rain or snow can create a real risk of electric shock. When you’re ready to hang your lights, always use a sturdy ladder. It might seem tempting to balance on a chair or step stool, but the extra stability of a ladder makes a huge difference.
